Job summary

Global Educational Excellence (GEE) seeks an Elementary Teacher to lead a K–5 classroom with engaging, data-driven instruction and a focus on the whole-child development.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and a Michigan teaching certificate with elementary endorsement, or eligibility via CAP. You will build a positive classroom culture, use assessment data to differentiate instruction, and collaborate with parents and staff to support student growth.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Elementary Teacher delivers engaging, data-driven instruction in a K–5 classroom setting, manages classroom culture, and supports the whole-child development of each student.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree required

Valid Michigan teaching certificate with appropriate elementary endorsement, or eligibility for certification through the Michigan State Board of Education

Candidates who do not yet hold a Michigan teaching certificate may qualify through enrollment in GEE's Career Advancement Program (CAP), which provides a supported pathway to Michigan certification. CAP eligibility is determined at the time of application.

Satisfactory criminal background check

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, and standing for extended periods. Work environment includes elevated noise levels.
