Job summary

Hamilton Township School District is seeking elementary leave replacement teachers for Kindergarten through 5th grade across several elementary schools. These are substitute positions replacing staff on a leave, with varying lengths, for the 2026-2027 school year.

Candidates must hold a New Jersey Instructional Certificate (CE or CE with Advanced Standing) with Early Childhood Education P-3 or Elementary Education K-6, knowledge of NJ standards, and the ability to collaborate with grade-level

Qualifications

• NJ Student Learning Standards knowledge
• Ability to work collaboratively with grade-level teachers
• Willingness to differentiate instruction and utilize technology to enhance student learning (particularly in mathematics and language arts literacy)
• Knowledge of state assessment expectations and test specifications (where applicable)
• Experience with Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching (a plus)
• Successful clearance of criminal history
• All Substitutes must be BOE approved
