Job summary

Pingry School seeks a visionary Lower School Educational Technology and Innovation Specialist for its Short Hills Campus. This 12‑month, on-site role leads how technology shapes learning for K‑5, reports to the Director of Research and Academic Innovation, and collaborates with the Lower School Director and academic leadership.

The candidate will inspire teachers, guide students in digital citizenship, and ensure thoughtful technology integration at Pingry’s primary education level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in instructional coaching, curriculum design, or technology integration within an elementary school setting.
• Proven success in designing and delivering impactful professional development grounded in adult learning principles.
• Deep knowledge of primary school curriculum and developmental milestones for K-5.
• Experience leading AI literacy initiatives or institutional committees is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the pedagogical lead for activating the Lower School technology vision across K-5 classrooms.
• Shape and maintain an integrated technology scope and sequence for K-5.
• Lead AI Working Group and collaborate on school-wide digital citizenship initiatives.
• Design and deliver professional development grounded in adult learning principles.
• Partner with teachers to model innovative tech integration and coach classroom practice.
