Job summary

Global Educational Excellence (GEE) seeks an Elementary Teacher for a K–5 classroom in Ann Arbor, MI. The role focuses on engaging, data-driven instruction, strong classroom culture, and whole-child development.

As part of a supportive, mentorship-driven network, you will use formative and summative data, collaborate with staff, and communicate progress to families to advance student growth. A Michigan teaching certificate or CAP eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with elementary endorsement, or eligibility for certification.
• CAP eligibility determined at application time.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver standards-aligned instruction that produces measurable student growth.
• Build positive, achievement-focused relationships with students.
• Use formative and summative assessment data to adjust instruction and meet individual student needs.
• Implement a tiered system of support within the classroom.
• Coordinate instruction within and across grade levels.
• Communicate regularly with parents, coaches, and administrators regarding student progress.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and collaborative planning sessions.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive classroom environment.
