Job summary

Global Educational Excellence (GEE) seeks an Elementary Teacher to deliver engaging, data-driven instruction in a K–5 classroom in Ann Arbor, MI. You will manage classroom culture and support the whole-child development.

Responsibilities include designing standards-aligned lessons, using assessments to tailor instruction, building relationships with students and families, and collaborating with staff. A Bachelor's degree and state certification are required or eligibility via CAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with elementary endorsement or eligibility for certification.
• CAP eligibility provides a pathway to Michigan certification.
• Satisfactory criminal background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver standards-aligned instruction that yields measurable student growth.
• Build positive, achievement-focused relationships with students.
• Use formative and summative assessment data to tailor instruction for individual needs.
• Implement a tiered system of support within the classroom.
• Coordinate instruction within and across grade levels.
• Communicate regularly with parents, coaches, and administrators regarding progress.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and collaborative planning.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive classroom environment.
