Neighborhood Learning Alliance PGH is seeking a K-5 Afterschool Staff member to support the Little Warriors program. The role focuses on academic enrichment, arts, STEM, and safe supervision after school at PPS sites.
You will work with students to implement the after school model, help develop reading and STEM skills, and foster a welcoming environment that supports social and emotional growth.

FLSA Status: nonexempt
Employment Status: Part-time
Hourly Rate:Starting at $15.00
Work Location: In-person – Based on Site Location
Dates: September 22, 2026 – May 28, 2027; Monday – Friday
Hours: Varies based on site
Camp Staffing: Average 12:1 camper to adult ratio
Hiring: Dependent on FBI Background, Child Abuse, Criminal Background, National Sex Offender Report, and Mandated Reporter Training (The organization will reimburse cost of clearances).
Work Schedule: Must be able to work the summer camp dates five days a week.
The K-5 Little Warriors Afterschool Program is designed to empower students to embrace their genius, establish a sense of community, and explore learning activities that enhance their health and well-being. This is done through active play, project-based learning, and enriched learning experiences. Staff will lead students in academic enrichment, arts, STEM, and community building activities. In addition, staff members will create a safe and welcoming environment.
