Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred, BCBA certification preferred.
• Knowledge of ABA strategies for students with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Model positive behavioral intervention strategies for teachers to use in the classroom.
• Assist teachers in analyzing behavior and developing correlating strategies for intervention.
• Support the implementation of behavior strategies by teachers and special education staff.
• Complete FBAs and BIPs when requested by ARD committee.
• Provide professional development as requested.
• Provide student and teacher observations to inform interventions, FBAs and BIPs.
• Maintain safety and protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Compile and maintain reports, records, and required documents.
• Participate in staff development to improve job-related skills.
