Eagle Ridge Academy is expanding and is opening ERA Site #2 in Brooklyn Center, MN. We are hiring a Special Education Teacher for K-4 with a 0.5-1.0 FTE and 186 days to start fall 2026.

The selected candidate will develop lesson plans, provide individualized and small group instruction, collaborate with teachers, maintain IEP records, and communicate with families. A Bachelor's degree and MN teaching license are required, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials for individualized and small group instruction.
• Collaborates with classroom teachers to adapt materials for diverse learners while preserving confidentiality.
• Maintains accurate student records including IEPs and data collection.
• Provides feedback and guidance to paraprofessionals.
• Manages student behavior with clear rules and interventions.
• Communicates progress towards goals and IEP concerns with families.
• Participates in meetings and performs other duties as needed.
