Job summary

Christopher Columbus Charter School seeks a full-time Special Education Teacher for an elementary class (K–4) to provide supplemental support to students with more acute needs. The 10-month role runs 8:00 AM–3:45 PM.

Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree and preferably a PDE Special Education Teaching Certificate; prior K-8 SPED experience and familiarity with autism, IDD, and behavioral health are valued. A flexible, collaborative professional with excellent attendance is essential.

• Experience in a K-8 self-contained SPED classroom is highly desired
• Experience with autism, IDD and behavioral health preferred
• Flexible personality with enthusiasm and resilience

Responsibilities

• Teach a Special Education class for grades K–4 providing supplemental support to students with more acute needs
