Job summary

Under the Principal's direction, you will guide students to achieve at or above grade level, plan lessons, deliver instruction, and collaborate with parents and district staff to support student success.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's Degree and an Illinois Professional Educator License with Elementary Self-Contained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree required.
• Illinois Professional Educator License with Elementary Self-Contained.
• Experience teaching K-4th grade preferred.
• Technology skills necessary to deliver instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide written lesson plans aligned to instructional objectives.
• Establish high expectations and ensure students understand them.
• Provide specialized instruction and collect data on student growth.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress and adjust instruction.
• Use differentiated instruction aligned with student needs.
• Maintain discipline consistent with District Policy and Procedures.
• Communicate academic progress, attendance, and conduct to parents/guardians.
