Job summary

The Kindezi Schools seeks a School-Based Literacy Coach to partner with principals, coaches, and K-3 teachers to improve reading outcomes across assigned campuses in Georgia. You will align literacy initiatives with the Georgia Early Literacy Act, develop data-driven plans, and model evidence-based instruction.

This role emphasizes collaborative professional development, regular reporting, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia Teaching or Service Certificate at level 4 or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or Special Education or related field.
• Advanced preparation in Reading/Literacy through Reading Endorsement, Dyslexia Endorsement, or independent training program approved by International Dyslexia Association.
• Minimum of 5 years elementary teaching experience including evidence-based word recognition and comprehension instruction.

Responsibilities

• Align schoolwide systems, processes, and resources to structured literacy per Georgia Early Literacy Act.
• Provide regular data reports to districts and stakeholders.
• Develop a school-wide literacy plan with K-3 teachers and monitor implementation.
