Job summary

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated K–2 Special Education Teacher for LOA coverage in Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year. This 35-hour/week position supports a small group of students in a self-contained setting with some general education participation and paraprofessional support.

The ideal candidate will plan individually, implement IEP goals, adapt lessons for varied needs, and partner with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and classroom staff

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois PEL required.
• LBS1 endorsement required.
• Special Education teaching certification appropriate for K–2.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction based on IEP goals.
• Support approximately four students in a self-contained classroom with paraprofessional assistance.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, families and staff.
• Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
