Job summary

Moss Interactive, LLC is seeking a Math Intervention Specialist to support K-2 students in mathematics using data-driven instruction and targeted interventions. You will deliver small-group and individual lessons and monitor progress, collaborating with teachers and families to implement best practices.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in elementary math pedagogy, data analysis, and a commitment to equitable, culturally responsive practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Mathematics, Regular Education or Elementary/Middle Level Certification.
• Three years of successful elementary teaching experience.
• Demonstrates equitable and culturally responsive practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality mathematics instruction to individual students and small groups.
• Uses data to provide instruction and bring skills to grade level.
• Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to identify best practices.
• Apply identified interventions to focus on individual student needs.
• Maintain data-based documentation of continuous monitoring of student performance and progress.
• Provide data to school teams and participate in decisions about student progress.
• Communicate with teachers, administration, and families regarding student progress.
• Assist with identifying students for placement in intervention groups.
• Attend trainings to improve knowledge and skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
