Job summary

Cincinnati Classical Academy is seeking an Instructional Aide for grades K-2 in a full-time role on a 9.5-month schedule. You will report to the lead grade level teacher and support lesson prep, instruction, and classroom management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma at minimum; a bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years of experience working with school-age children.
• Understanding of explicit, intensive phonics (Orton-Gillingham).
• Ability to interact joyfully with students, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teachers with lesson preparation, instruction, and classroom management.
• Instruct students individually or in small groups.
• Develop the intellect and character of every student.
• Overssee student behavior and discipline in line with the school's mission.
