Job summary

Kamehameha Schools Maui campus is seeking Substitute Teachers to support our K‑12 campus by providing classroom coverage and instructional support as needed throughout the academic year.

These are temporary, on‑call positions for the 2026‑2027 School Year. On an as‑needed basis, serve as a substitute teacher at the elementary, middle and/or high school levels. Strong communication and classroom management skills are essential to support student learning and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Knowledge of instructional methods for grade levels.
• Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Strong time management and classroom organization.
• Ability to communicate with students, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom coverage as needed across grade levels.
• Support students in online courses.
• Assist with independent study assignments and projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
