Job summary

Cleveland Hill UFSD in New York is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services to PreK–12 students under IEPs. You will conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, deliver therapy, and monitor progress.

You will collaborate with families, teachers, psychologists, and other service providers; participate in CSE/CPSE meetings; and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• New York State certification as Speech-Language Pathologist for school use.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• Eligible for NYS school-based license.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy to students per IEPs.
• Conduct screenings and evaluations to determine eligibility.
• Develop measurable goals aligned with IEPs.
• Maintain documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and service logs.
• Participate in CSE/CPSE meetings and provide professional recommendations.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, psychologists, and related service providers.
• Provide consultation and strategies to classroom staff to support communication development.
• Prepare written reports and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
• Communicate progress and strategies to parents/guardians.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information per laws and district policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
