Job summary

Point Quest seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to deliver school-based therapy in Chicago, IL. You will work with students in K-12 settings, collaborate with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team to support communication skills and access to education.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, direct therapy, IEP documentation, and family consultation. Supervision of SLPA(s) may be involved; competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered.
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
  • Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
  • Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
  • Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
  • supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable)
