Job summary

Amergis in Mesquite, TX is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide services to students from kindergarten through grade 12 under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator.

This contract, full-time role requires a Bachelor’s degree, valid state certification, and at least 1 year of teaching experience; CPR/health screenings may be required and endorsements are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience preferred.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• Compliance with professional standards of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality services to special education students, K-12.
