Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver school-based therapy in Independence, MO. The role involves assessments, treatment planning, and direct therapy to support K-12 students under MO SLP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Current SLP license in the applicable state (or eligibility).
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal assessments to determine eligibility and functioning level.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct speech therapy aligned with IEP goals.
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
• Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).
