Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services, Inc. seeks a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting in the Tracy/Hayward area.

The role involves conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and delivering direct therapy (individual and group) while collaborating with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and staff to drive student success. Active CA SLP license or eligibility is required; CFs are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active CA SLP License (or eligibility)
• CFs welcome to apply
• Experience or interest in working with pediatric/school-based populations

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed
