Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Asheboro, NC is seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time, contract position serving K-12 students. You will administer and interpret psychoeducational assessments, support special education eligibility decisions, and provide crisis intervention when needed.

Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to tailor interventions, monitor progress, and document outcomes in compliance with school policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret psychological, academic, and behavioral assessments.
• Participate in IEP development and student progress reviews.
• Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed.
• Consult with teachers, families, and staff on strategies and interventions.
• Develop and monitor individualized plans and document progress.
• Maintain confidential documentation in compliance with policies and laws.
