Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking an experienced School Psychologist for a full-time contract serving elementary through high school students in North Carolina. You will conduct evaluations, support special education eligibility processes, and provide collaborative assessments.

You will lead re-evaluation reviews, administer cognitive and behavioral assessments, and work with multidisciplinary teams to advocate for student needs.

Qualifications

• Valid School Psychologist credentials.
• Experience in school-based psychological services.
• Proficiency in cognitive assessments, re-evaluations, and functional behavioral assessments.
• Ability to facilitate eligibility meetings and engage with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational and documentation practices.
• Experience with elementary, middle, and high school students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leading re-evaluation review and eligibility meetings.
• Administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological assessments.
• Conducting functional behavioral assessments and recommending interventions.
• Supporting students' educational and emotional needs through direct and consultative services.
• Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families.
• Maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Contributing to a positive school environment by fostering understanding and advocacy.
