Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a school psychologist to support K-12 students in Thibodaux, LA for a 35-hour week contract through May 2027. You will provide assessments, interventions, and counseling across multiple schools, with a streamlined virtual interview process.

The ideal candidate holds a valid state license, has experience with psychoeducational evaluations and IEP development, and excels in collaboration, documentation, and communication within educational teams.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist is required.
• Experience supporting K-12 students across varied grade levels.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and behavioral intervention skills.
• Ability to conduct psychoeducational evaluations and develop IEP recommendations.
• Collaborative approach to working with teachers, administrators, and families.
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychological services to students, including assessments, interventions, and counseling.
• Interpret evaluation results and contribute actively to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral growth using evidence-based practices.
• Serve as a resource to school staff and families, delivering consultation and training as needed.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and district policies.
• Effectively manage a diverse caseload while supporting multiple campuses.
