Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience administering cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments.
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, MTSS, and special education law.
• Excellent communication with staff, parents, and students.
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct student evaluations and interpret assessment data to guide interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop effective strategies supporting student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations for accommodations and supports.
• Offer individual and group counseling to assist with emotional, behavioral, and academic needs.
• Consult with parents and caregivers to support student development and well-being.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation complies with district, state, and federal guidelines.
