Soliant is seeking a School Psychologist to support students and educators near Harrisburg, PA for the remainder of the school year. This full-time, contract position offers collaboration with a diverse educational team and opportunities to positively shape student growth in a dynamic school setting.

The role involves conducting assessments, participating in IEP teams, providing counseling and crisis intervention, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote wellness and achievement.

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience working within school settings, preferably K-12
• Comprehensive understanding of psychoeducational assessment tools and intervention strategies
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, parents, and students
• Ability to manage caseloads, conduct evaluations, and develop intervention plans in a timely manner
• Proficiency in documenting services and maintaining confidential records
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational atmosphere

Responsabilités

• Conduct formal psychological assessments and interpret results to identify student needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management services as required
• Consult with educators and parents regarding academic and behavioral interventions
• Support the implementation of evidence-based practices promoting student wellness and academic achievement
• Assist with school-wide mental health initiatives and positive behavior support frameworks
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
