Taher, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Director in Lubbock, TX to lead a K-12 lunch program. You will manage staff, menus, and daily operations while ensuring compliant meals and strong client relationships.

The role focuses on HACCP compliance, budget attainment, vendor management, and delivering high-quality service within USDA guidelines. Regular Monday–Friday daytime hours with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of food service leadership experience in K-12 or similar setting.
• Associate degree in hospitality, dietetics, or related field.
• Strong budget, P&L, and cost control capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily kitchen operations and training of staff.
• Develop menus aligned with USDA Child Nutrition guidelines.
• Maintain HACCP and sanitation standards.
• Manage food orders, inventory, vendor relations and cash control.
• Deliver budgeted food and labor results and P&L performance.
• Provide catering and special event services for the district.
• Build relationships with district leaders, staff, students, and families.
• Create a safe, clean work environment and uphold standards.
