Job summary

Waterville Public Schools seeks dependable Substitute Nurses to support the health and well-being of our K-12 students. You will administer medications, respond to health concerns, and maintain health records across four facilities.

Flexible coverage and on-call opportunities exist, with a pay rate of $30.00 per hour. Qualified applicants must hold a Maine RN license, current CPR certification, and State of Maine fingerprinting approval.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the State of Maine.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Pediatric nursing experience is preferred.
• Previous school nursing experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily and emergency medications to students.
• Assess and address student health concerns.
• Provide routine first aid and basic health care.
• Maintain accurate and complete health documentation.
• Collaborate with parents, school staff, and other members of the school community.
• Provide nursing coverage across four school facilities serving K-12 students.
