Job summary

FIA NOW Employment Solutions is recruiting a Head of School for a community-based K-12 school in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This leader will guide academics, people, operations, finances, and community relationships while keeping student success at the center of the work.

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Head of School will set vision, strengthen instruction, hire and develop leaders, and ensure a safe, student-centered culture with strong oversight of budgets and compliance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated K-12 leadership improving student outcomes and school performance.
• Experience leading principals, senior leaders, or a school or education organization.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum, instruction, assessment, student support, and school culture.
• Experience overseeing budgets, staffing, operations, compliance, and organizational decision-making.
• A master's degree or equivalent advanced preparation is required.

Responsibilities

• Set a clear K-12 academic vision and measurable priorities for student achievement and readiness after high school.
• Strengthen instruction and use data to guide continuous improvement across grade levels.
• Hire, develop, and retain strong school leaders, teachers, and staff.
• Build a safe, accountable, and student-centered school culture.
• Oversee finances, staffing, operations, compliance, and long-term organizational sustainability.
• Partner effectively with the Board of Trustees and provide clear reporting on school performance and priorities.
• Build trusted relationships with students, families, employees, and community partners.
