Job summary

FIA NOW Employment Solutions seeks a Head of School to lead a community-based K-12 school in Allentown, PA. The role reports to the Board of Trustees and drives academics, people, operations, finances, and community relationships with student outcomes at the center.

The candidate will set a clear academic vision, strengthen instruction using data, and hire and develop leaders and teachers while maintaining a safe, student-centered culture in a fiscally sound organization.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated K-12 leadership experience with responsibility for improving student outcomes and school performance.
• Experience leading principals, senior leaders, or a school or education organization.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum, instruction, assessment, student support, and school culture.
• Experience overseeing budgets, staffing, operations, compliance, and organizational decision-making.

• Ability to work effectively with a governing Board and build trust across diverse groups.
  
• A master's degree or equivalent advanced preparation is required.
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience in or knowledge of Pennsylvania K-12 education, including public district, charter, private, or independent schoolsettings.
  
• Experience leading within a diverse school community.
