Summary of position: The School Counselor is responsible for organizing and administering school counseling services for the BCIU Bridge program and Act 89 non-public programs with the primary intent of assisting every student solve his/her problems while also promoting growth of the individual in self-direction.

Qualifications:
Schedule: Full-Time School Counselor. Primary responsibility will be supporting grades K-8.This position supports up to 20 Reading School District students on caseloadat our BCIU Bridge Program located at the Olivet Boys and Girls Club, Oakbrook Campus. Additionally, the position will support up to 4 Act 89 qualifying non-public schools.
Experience in trauma informed practices, community and family supports, attendance plan and procedures, career readiness, and group lessons preferred.
