Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in New Britain, CT, on a full-time, on-site basis under maternity leave coverage.

You'll conduct therapy, collaborate with educators, develop IEP-aligned plans, and complete documentation, assessments, and meetings. This role requires a Master’s in SLP, CCC, CT license, and school-based experience; 35 hours weekly; Zoom interview; fingerprinting. The position offers daytime hours and collaborative district environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required.
• Active Connecticut SLP license (upfront licenses are a plus).
• Previous school-based SLP experience is essential.
• On-site role, 35 hours per week.
• Must be open to serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
• District fingerprinting and background check required.
• SLPAs not accepted for these roles.
• Availability for a Zoom interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse K-12 caseload, ensuring interventions support educational goals
• Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to facilitate student communication and success
• Develop individualized treatment plans and document progress in accordance with school and district standards
• Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate recommendations to multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal documentation requirements
