Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) for a Taylor, MI district for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time contract position providing occupational therapy services across the K12 setting.

The OT will deliver direct and consultative services, perform evaluations and develop individualized plans. Collaboration with teachers, families, and the special education team is essential to support student progress and daily living skills within the school

Qualifications

• Master's degree in OT is required.
• Active OT license in Michigan is required.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively with students, families and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to K12 students.
• Complete evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, families and the special education team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Support students in improving functional, academic and daily living skills within the school environment.
