Job summary

TAG MedStaffing is urgently hiring a Paraprofessional to support NYC K–12 students in Bronx schools. You will provide one-on-one and small group support, reinforce instructional plans, and help maintain a structured classroom environment throughout the day.

The role involves collaboration with teachers and staff to promote student success, with opportunities across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island based on preference.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• TA, HHA, or CNA certification is required.
• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role is required.
• Experience supporting children or individuals with special needs is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small group support to students with academic, behavioral, developmental, and special education needs.
• Reinforce lesson plans, classroom activities, and educational goals under the direction of the teacher.
• Help maintain a structured, safe, and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success.
• Implement behavioral support strategies and assist with student engagement, focus, and social development.
• Communicate with teachers and school staff regarding student progress and maintain required documentation.
