Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Manager (MEP) to join our PM/CM team in New Jersey/Philadelphia. As owner’s representative, you will manage MEP field activities across multiple capital projects for K-12 facilities, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, and quality objectives are achieved.

You will report to the Sr. Project Manager or Project Executive and influence project outcomes from planning through occupancy, with a focus on risk management and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture or related field.
• 10+ years of project management experience on capital projects for education facilities.
• Experience managing capital projects valued at $50 million or greater.
• Proven ability to manage multiple on-site activities.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint; Kahua a plus.
• Ability to develop creative solutions while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality objectives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as STV authorized representative for K-12 capital projects from planning to occupancy/closeout.
• Manage MEP field activities.
• Involve in programming, budgeting, planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, activation, move management, and closeout per project.
• Develop and monitor field reports.
• Establish and monitor project schedules and milestones to meet objectives.
• Facilitate meetings with project team to move project forward.
• Evaluate risks, develop mitigating strategies, and resolve issues impacting construction.
• Review and negotiate change orders, invoices, and contractor pay applications.
