Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Technology, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred in Educational Leadership, Instructional Technology, Library Media Sciences, or Curriculum Instruction.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in K-12 Teaching, Media Specialist, and/or Instructional Technology.
• Must hold a teaching certificate from any state.
• Strong understanding of pedagogical methods and technology integration.
• Proficiency in educational technologies and digital platforms.
• Willing to obtain Apple Learning Coach and Microsoft Educator Trainer recognitions.
• Excellent customer service with urgency and ability to work with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with state leadership and school admins to assess and implement technology integration.
• Coordinates with Curriculum & Instruction and other units on content, models, goals, and training for supported products.
• Develops and facilitates professional development sessions for school staff.
• Assists in developing curriculum materials and lesson plans aligned with the technology plan.
• Facilitates selection, installation, and startup of educational technology systems and equipment.
• Participates in technology committees to set long-range goals.
• Prepares and presents information about technology for internal and external audiences.
• Collects feedback on technology usage for continuous improvement and purchasing decisions.
