Job summary

Frontier School of Excellence in Kansas City is seeking an Instructional Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Starting salary is $76,500; commensurate with experience and education. This campus-based role reports to the Principal and sits within the Academics department.

You will support teachers by modeling best practices, conducting visits, and guiding lesson planning. You will analyze district data and provide feedback to reach student goals, with a calendar of 11 months.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five years of experience in a K-12 setting.
• Coaching/mentoring experience in a K-12 setting.
• Teacher certification.
• Master’s degree in Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom visits to support teachers in instructional strategies.
• Conduct pre- and post-conferences with teachers.
• Identify growth areas for teachers and provide feedback.
• Develop effective lesson plans and support implementation.
• Analyze assessment data to inform campus strategies.
• Provide training and model lessons for new teachers.
• Ensure materials and tools for instruction are available.
