Genuine Foods is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to oversee cafeteria operations across multiple school sites. You will support daily food service activities, staff supervision, and ensure NSLP compliance while delivering high-quality meals and service to students and staff.

• Assist the RAM with daily site visits to observe school food service operations, NSLP compliance, student engagement, and customer service.
• Assist the food service director with managing site leads as direct reports and weekly check-ins.
• Enhance culinary operations across all sites and cover food servers when needed.
• Proactively communicate performance and issues to management and collaborate on school-specific solutions.
• Train school-based staff on policies, pace production records, inventory, and menu postings.
• Other duties as assigned to meet Genuine standards.

The Assistant FSD helps the RAM with overseeing cafeteria based staff and service operations at a multi-site school district and is an ambassador for Genuine Foods’ to grow and maintain relationships with customers and partners. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team environment, has customer service and culinary orientation and has experience supervising others.
