Qualifications

• AA degree, two years of college or pass HELP test required.

• Demonstrated knowledge of the teaching‑learning process.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate punctuality and regular attendance.
• Assist in implementation of lessons for K–12 as directed by the teacher.
• Supervise students and support classroom management.
• Assist in preparing materials and equipment for instruction.
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff, and families.
• Use positive verbal and non‑verbal communication with students, parents, and staff.
• Assist in grading routine student work.
• Prepare and organize instructional materials as requested.
• Intervene in crisis/emergency situations as directed by staff.
• Show initiative to take on extra tasks after completion of assigned work.
• Perform other duties as assigned by teacher or principal.
