Job summary

Challenge Preparatory Charter School in Far Rockaway, NY, seeks a Data, Information, and Assessment Systems Specialist to lead school-wide data initiatives and analytics. The role reports to the Secondary School Principal and Senior Director of Secondary Teaching and Learning, coordinating SIS, LMS, and data reporting across networks.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of K-12 school systems and how core data and digital systems function to improve outcomes.
• 4+ years of proven experience designing, deploying, and managing core information systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the school’s leadership team.
• Manage the Student Information System (PowerSchool) and expand schoolwide usage.
• Serve as liaison between the school and identity management consulting company.
• Support and coordinate troubleshooting for data systems, applications and reporting requests.
• Create, maintain, and adjust master and student schedules.
