Job summary

Challenge Preparatory Charter School (Challenge Prep) seeks a Data, Information, and Assessment Systems Specialist to lead data initiatives and analytics across our school network. The role reports to school leadership and supports data-driven decision-making for improved student outcomes.

Qualifications

4+ years designing, deploying, and managing core information systems.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology or related field.
Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques including conceptual, logical, and physical.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Serve as a member of the school’s leadership team.
Manage our Student Information System (PowerSchool) and expand usage.
Collaborate with instructional leadership to design, create, and implement assessments.
Collect, sort, analyze, and present scholar data for planning and reports.
Plan and facilitate data days and professional learning.
Develop and maintain user roles and permissions within education platforms.
