Job summary

PROCEDEO, a national Design/Construction Program Management firm, seeks a Program Director to lead a portfolio of K-12 projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will provide strategic direction and day-to-day management, serving as the primary liaison between the client and PROCEDEO to ensure successful delivery and compliance with contracts.

This on-site, full-time role requires at least 10 years in program or project management, strong contract administration and team leadership, and the

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in program or project management within K-12/public sector or large-scale capital improvement.
• Strong skills in contract administration, business operations, and team management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging executive leadership and boards.
• Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-phase design and construction programs.
• Professional degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering preferred.
• Understanding of architectural drawings, constructability, and sequencing.
• Must have strong speaking and presentation skills.
• Must reside in the DFW area or be willing to relocate.
• Experience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods.
• Team-oriented with a client-service mindset.
• Exempt position under FLSA; not eligible for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership, direction, and accountability for the program's successful execution.
• Serve as primary liaison with client leadership, Design and Construction Services, and the Board of Education.
• Represent PROCEDEO in program meetings, presentations, and client communications.
• Oversee daily operations of the Program Management Team, including business, technical, and admin functions.
• Ensure staff performance through selection, development, and evaluation.
• Establish and approve program policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Administer prime contracts, joint venture agreements, and sub-consultant agreements.
• Lead design-phase strategies and phasing plans with design and construction leadership.
• Direct design and construction phases in coordination with project leads.
• Perform other duties to ensure program success.
