Job summary

Hampton County School District is seeking a Career Development Facilitator to support Hampton Intermediate School in Hampton, SC. You will coordinate career awareness activities, assist counselors and teachers, and help students plan for college and career readiness.

Under supervision, organize career events, work-based learning, and credentialing information while building partnerships with local business and industry to enhance program quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college/university.
• GCDF or CDF certification or ability to obtain within first year.
• Experience in education setting preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist schools in promoting quality career development for K-12 students.
• Coordinate and present professional development workshops for teachers and counselors.
• Assist counselors and students in accessing career information and resources.
• Organize career events, career fairs, and work-based learning programs.
• Develop partnerships with business and industry for internships and apprenticeships.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
