Qualifications

• Valid certification from RID or BEI required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in K-12 educational settings preferred.
• Ability to pass school district background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpreting services for students requiring communication support.
• Attend IEP and 504 meetings as part of the education team.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers and parents.

Skills

Fluency in American Sign Language

Expressive and receptive communication skills

Understanding of Deaf culture
