Responsibilities

• Attendance at league coaches’ meetings or special events.
• Ascertain that students have arranged transportation home after events when none is provided by the school.
• Requisition of supplies and equipment.
• Supervise and instruct student-athletes at practice and all events home and away.
• Maintain, distribute, and collect uniforms and equipment.
• Verify student-athlete eligibility.
• Coordinate practice and non-league competition schedules.
• Supervision over junior varsity wrestlers.
• Works under direct supervision of the Head Wrestling Coach.

Job Description

Experience

Wrestling coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level most desirable. Competitive wrestling experience at the high school and/or collegiate level will also be considered. General coaching experience will be considered.

Skills

Unusual Work Hours

Early release time for afternoon events. Saturday and weekend tournaments.

After Hour Responsibilities

• Attendance at league coaches’ meetings or special events.
