Job summary

RADFORD CITY PBLC SCHS SCHOOL DISTRICT in Radford, VA is seeking a Junior Varsity Softball Coach to lead daily workouts, attend practices and games, and guide student-athletes.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid Training, Fundamentals of Coaching Training and Concussion Training preferred.
• Complete orientation through human resources including fingerprinting and background checks.
• Within two years of hiring, ASEP Basic VHSL course and test completed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily workouts and practices.
• Attend all practices and softball games.
• Supervise and instruct student-athletes during all team activities.
• Prepare the softball facility for home meets.
• Promote balanced achievement in all areas of school life for student-athletes.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administrators.
• Assist in building the softball program and plan for its future.
