Job summary

Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School in Washington, DC seeks an experienced JV lacrosse coach to support the head coach for the 2027 spring season. Qualifications

• Experience coaching youth, high school, club or college-level lacrosse athletes.
• Strong organizational and oral communication skills.
• Ability to listen, reflect, and connect with students.

Responsibilities

• Uphold the philosophy and policies of the school’s athletic program
• Demonstrate an understanding of and enthusiasm for women’s sports, high school athletics, and Catholic values
• Select students for participation in team
• Plan and implement practice plans and schedule
• Work collaboratively with other members of the coaching staff and the wider athletic program
• Work with families of current student-athletes
• Serve as supervising staffer for students during all team activities, both on and off-campus, including evenings and weekends as needed
