The role includes supervising coaching duties, attending meetings with the principal, athletic director, or head coach, coordinating practice schedules, equipment, transportation to away games, monitoring academics, arranging managers and game scorers, supervising athletes after practices, and handling opponent scouting when possible.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the supervision of your coaching duties.
• Attend staff meetings called by the principal, athletic director, or head coach.
• Coordinate all activities of the JV team, including practice schedules, equipment management, transportation to away games, monitoring academic progress, securing personnel such as managers and game scorers, supervising athletes after practice or game until all athletes are off school grounds, etc.
• Scouting of opponents when possible.
• Treat all injuries in the absence of the trainer.
• All other duties, within reason, assigned by the head coach.
