Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• Successful completion of a Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance
• Successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens Training/Hepatitis B Shots Series Training
• Current teacher certification or substitute certification in Illinois, or completion of the American Sports Education Program (ASEP) coaching certification as set by the Illinois High School Association (IHSA)

• Assist head coach in planning and scheduling practices and competitions according to district and IHSA rules
• Manage athlete behavior and oversee safety conditions of the facility
• Coach individual skills and enforce discipline and sportsmanship
• Ensure proper attire, equipment care, and organization of practices
• Maintain accurate records and ensure eligibility criteria are met
• Create a positive learning environment and promote team spirit
• Perform related duties as assigned

Physical and Mental Requirements:
Must have adequate physical strength, stamina, agility, and sensory acuity to perform duties effectively.
