Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a dedicated Soccer – Boys Junior Varsity Coach for the 2026-27 season. This part-time position involves oversight of the junior varsity program, including training, scheduling, and student-athlete support.

The ideal candidate will have prior coaching experience and must emphasize the importance of academics alongside athletics. Strong community engagement and effective communication with the Athletic Director are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior coaching experience at the college, high school, or club level is required.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa is required.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the entire junior varsity program, including safety and inventory of athletic equipment.
• Communicate with the Athletic Director regarding student‑athlete incidents or parental concerns.
• Promote academics before athletics by monitoring academic performance and enforcing eligibility.
• Allow all student athletes the opportunity to compete while promoting sportsmanship.
• Build a positive relationship with the community to promote the sport.
• Supervise athletes before practices, during/after practices, and during activities/events.
• Assist with fundraising and promote community support and awareness.
