Job summary

Danvers High School (DHS) in Danvers, Massachusetts, is seeking a JV Boys Hockey Coach for the after-school/evening season. The coach will organize and lead the hockey program, emphasizing sportsmanship, academics, and ethical conduct, under the supervision of the Athletic Director.

CORI checks and CPR/First Aid certification are required, with the position paid as a season stipend. The coach will manage schedules, supervise uniforms and equipment, and communicate with parents while ensuring

Qualifications

Knowledge of the assigned sport to be coached.
Previous experience coaching is preferred.
Ability to comply with all MIAA Rules and Regulations and coaches Code of Ethics.
Employment based on successful completion of a CORI background check.
This is a stipend position to be paid out at the end of each season.
Individuals must be CPR/First Aid Certified and complete the MIAA Fundamentals of Coaching Course.
At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
Bachelor degree preferred.
